B. Replenished Antioxidant Oil | Review

As someone who has oily skin using an oil to help boost radiance and moisture was the last thing on my mind, but after thinking about it why the hell not? Oily skin produces more oil when dehydrated to help balance the loss of moisture, so using oil based products can help dissolve sebum without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

This oil is targeted at people aged between 30 and 40 which I’m not too sure why, from the ingredients and claims it should be recommened to all ages and skin types!

Ingredients

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ethyl Macadamiate, Limnanthes Alba Seed Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil Phytosterol Esters, Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Parfum, PEG-8, Tocopherol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citronellol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Geraniol, Limonene, Malic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, CI 40800

Running the ingredients through COSDNA I came across a few irritants and acne triggers which I wasn’t too surprised about. Some oils can clog pores and cause breakouts it’s just about finding one that works for you.

Claims

Helps protect against environmental free radical damage – with a potent blend of Vitamins C &E that helps to boost the skin’s antioxidant levels. 12 hourintense hydration – Instantly softens and smoothes with Rosehip, Argan and Crambe seed oil. Non pore-blocking formula.

My Experience

As recommended on the box I warmed two drops (surprisingly it’s more than enough) of the product between my palms and patted it into the skin. The product is absorbed fairly quickly and doesn’t leave the skin looking or feeling greasy. It has a subtle floral scent which is not too overpowering and does fade after a little while.

I’ve been using this product over a month now and I really like it. This is the first oil I’ve ever used on my skin from the fear of breaking out and I’ve had no pimples so far!! As I have combination skin it has helped the dry patches around my nose and eyebrows and also reduced the oiliness. I would say that’s down to my skin being properly hydrated so in turn producing less oil, still oily, but less.

The texture of my skin has also improved, it feels softer and some the redness has also subsided. Also can we appreciate how gorgeous this little bottle is!

Overall Review

I would recommend this to anyone new to oil products. If your a little bit hesitant like me give this a try because it won’t break the bank either! (£13.99). I promise you, you won’t be disappointed!

If you do try this let me know how it goes and if you have tried it let me know how you found it!
